The house

A house that steps down to the water.

The lot drops toward Table Rock Lake, so the house steps down with it. A covered breezeway frames the lake the moment you pull in, and the water stays in view from room after room.

Outside, it's weathered cedar and corten steel. Inside, it's white oak, open stairs, and glass wherever the view earns it. The terraces carry the living space outdoors, with a fire table and a lap pool beside the lake.

"A departure from the architectural norms around here, and I loved it for that. Very clean and tasteful interior finishes, and the best lake views of any home I have personally seen on Table Rock Lake."
